Spirituality

Volunteers

55 juniors, seniors, and teachers broke the record at Athens Area Homeless Shelter for most volunteers at one time during our service project in March

The Donovan community partnered with Athens Area Homeless Shelter in March 2019. During this schoolwide service project, students cleaned and prepared units for new residents at the ARCH Shelter. Additionally, Donovan hosted a successful cleaning supply drive to create “Going Home Kits” for shelter residents.

To Radiate the Lord

We congratulate Father Gregory Tipton, theology teacher and school chaplain, who was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in June 2019.
Our focus on service will continue in the 2019-2020 year with our annual Operation Christmas Child Drive and the addition of a Day of Service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Basketball: A small but mighty Lady Rams team of 6 players exceeded expectations and made it to the Elite 8.
The Donovan volleyball, boys basketball and football teams made it to the playoffs in their respective seasons.
