Hannah L. Rowan Media Center
All students have access to the Hannah Laughlin Rowan Media Center during school hours with a class and when a teacher is present. The Media Center has a circulating collection of over 2,000 books, 100 DVDs and videos, and reference books for teacher access. Faculty, staff, and students have access to computers and a projector and screen in the Media Center as well.
The Media Center also has access to Georgia Library Learning Online (GALILEO), a project of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. It is a web-based virtual library that provides access to subscription-only resources and databases. The web-based virtual library includes encyclopedias, electronic books, 2000+ full-text periodicals, government publications, business directories, and editorially reviewed web-sites. Students have access to over 100 databases on a 24/7 basis from any Internet connected computer, giving the students the ability to use the system at home or from other locations.
