Scholarship Deadline 3/5: The Classic Center Cultural Foundation Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a resident of Athens-Clarke or contiguous counties (Barrow, Madison, Jackson, Oconee or Oglethorpe) enrolled in high school.
- Cannot be related to a Classic Center employee or board member.
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to the performing, visual or culinary arts.
- Must participate in the live judging auditions/juried show/cook-off scheduled in April 2021.
- Applications will be due Friday, March 5, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. No late applications will be accepted.
DESCRIPTION
The Classic Center Cultural Foundation will be awarding $2,000 scholarships in the categories of visual arts, culinary arts, vocal performance, instrumental performance, and dance/dramatic performance.
One of the goals of The Classic Center Cultural Foundation is to support the youth in our community in their continuing study of the arts. One of the ways we achieve this is by awarding annual performing arts scholarships to local high school students and a culinary scholarship to individuals seeking to pursue culinary arts education full-time.
