Dear Donovan Family,

As many of you read in our announcement Friday, Donovan is growing with the addition of 7th and 8th grades next year! This time of year too tends to be a season of growth for our students as we make the last steps towards the end of the school year. It is definitely my favorite time of year as an educator when we start to see the fruits of our efforts throughout the school year. Now is the time to encourage focus and resilience for a strong academic finish for your students.

Last Week:

*Congratulations to the Boys Soccer team on an exciting win over Gatewood with Graham Temple-Roberts, Myers Temple-Roberts, and Alex Parra scoring goals. While the girls team didn’t come out victorious, they definitely showed improvement.
*We’re adding 7th and 8th grade! Friday, we celebrated with students by handing out warm Krispy Kreme donuts and an assembly in the gym to talk about the exciting changes coming next year. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Looking Ahead:

*The Junior Class will leave for their college tour trip on Wednesday, March 26 and return Thursday, March 28. Junior parents, please check your email for communications from Mr. Hogan.
*Baseball plays on Monday at Briarwood and Friday at home. The Soccer teams play Tuesday and Friday at home. Come out and cheer on the Rams!

Reminders:

*Hoodies of any type are NOT allowed on Mass days. Please check with your student to ensure they have dress shoes, appropriate outwear, and their Mass uniform.
*AP Mock Testing will begin April 1. All exams will start at noon and end around 3:30. Please make sure you plan for transportation accordingly. See the schedule below for dates.

It is an exciting time for Donovan with lots of activities ahead to prepare for and celebrate the end of the school.
